On the PDE record, the amount fields allow for a sign character ( or -). What PDE fields can allow a negative amount?

Answer:

We allow negative amounts in the Non-Covered Plan Paid Amount field (NPP) and in the Patient Liability Reduction due to Other Payer Amount field (PLRO). See PDE Training Module 7 Calculating and Reporting Enhanced Alternative Benefit and Module 8 – Edits.
